Rare Spiked Collars

Bonjour, Jammers! It's so early! Anyways..
Today's item is highly argued about and very much wanted around the world of Jamaa..

Long Spiked Collars

These spikes come in 8 different colors, as shown above.
They were released as the Second Monthly Member gift in Animal Jam. There are a bunch in the game but they are still rare and highly wanted.

These are the rarity rankings of each color based on popular opinion
8th Place: Yellow
7th Place: Orange
6th Place: Green
5th Place: Purple
4th Place: Pink
3rd Place: Blue
2nd Place: Red
1st Place: Black

These are the rarity rankings of each color based on how many exist
8th Place: Blue
7th Place: Black
6th Place: Pink
5th Place: Purple
4th Place: Red
3rd Place: Yellow
2nd Place: Orange
1st Place: Green

(information via SnowyClaw)

Black is highly wanted in the world of Animal Jam, and jammers are willing to trade 6 or more other collars for this collar. Trailing close behind is red, blue, green, yellow and pink, while many jammers leave orange in last place.

Short Spiked Collars

These collars come in 8 different collars, like long collars, as show below.
These collars happen to be way less rare than long spiked collars, and with enough patience you can win these in The Forgotten Desert, the eagle and owl adventure.

While just as cool, jammers prefer long spiked collars rather than short spiked collars.
If you may have noticed, some of the collars are light/darker than their counterparts. While different colors, they are still in range for the same color ratio and some of the actual spikes happen to be pigmented a bit instead of white/silver, like the long spiked collars.

Diamond Shop Spikes

In the world of Animal Jam, there are also non-rare collars.

These collars also come in 8 colors, but happen to not be rare at all. You could have bought these spikes for 3 diamonds, but they have recently left the diamond store. They should be back soon, though!
Even though these are still spikes, most jammers prefer the rare ones. Don't ask me why, I don't know. I guess it's because they're cooler and worth more?

Spiked Wristbands

Every spiked collar, rare or not rare, has a sibling/cousin/whatever, the spiked wristband, as shown
below.

(Sorry for the big image)

They come in the same color ratio as their siblings, but are not even half as rare as the collars. These spikes are only worth a few betas and rares.
While the diamond shop spiked wristbands are pretty much the same as the rare ones, these wristbands are not worth anything and can actually be changed to a different color before being bought. They can be changed to the same color of the diamond shop spiked collars to match!

That's it for today, folks! Stay tuned for another article. Adieu!

Founders Hats

Bonjour, Jammers! Welcome back.
Today's post is about Founders hats.

Or, pretty much, a golden top hat (As seen above).

This item is pretty beta and rare, and was originally found in Jam Mart Clothing, selling for only 40 gems in 2010. These hats can be recycled for only a small bit of 12 gems.

Even though it's just a golden top hat, this hat is extremely rare and valuable to a lot of jammers.
In 2013 to early 2015, this hat was worth a few black longs and a bad long spiked collar.
For some reason, however, this item's rarity has definitely gone down a lot. Now they're only worth a few spikes, I traded mine for two short wristbands and one short collar.

These hats are actually pretty awesome, and if you have one, I would hold onto it! The rarity may go up, and next thing you know you'll have GOLD in your hands. Get it, because they're gold? No? Okay..

Anyways, that's it for todays post! Stay tuned for more. Adieu!

Scamming

Hey there jammers! Long time no blog.
Anyways, I'm going to be talking about scammers today because it seems like it has been happening a lot lately.

Scamming is when someone says "Gift me something and I will gift you back." You gift them, they leave, block you and don't give you back. That's what it pretty much is.
Scamming happens in a bunch of different ways, sadly, in the world of Jamaa.
Be sure to NEVER trust Flash Trading or Trust Trading.

Flash Trading is when you attempt trade something valuable for something way lower in value, e.g a rare long spike for a 45 gem necklace. You attempt to trade it and quickly cancel the trade. Sadly, jammers have developed hacks and new ways to accept your item before you can cancel the trade, which makes this type of trading a scam and very risky. Don't do it.

Trust Trading is almost the same. You trust someone to NOT accept to your trade. Like this, e.g trading again, a rare short spiked collar for a 45 gem necklace. You trust and hope the significant other to not accept your trade. This happens more often than Flash Trading, and is definitely way more risky.

"Give me your password and I'll redeem a membership card to your account!" BIG NO!
If you have rares or any items on your account that are valuable to you, you wouldn't do this. And you wouldn't be dumb enough (no offense) to. It's just stupid. You should never give out your password to ANYONE, even if its your bestfriend. Passwords are supposed to keep your account secure and safe, and if you give it away, whats the point?
If you really trust that jammer, and want whatever they're promising to give you, send all your items to an alt account. You'll know they'll be safe there, and if they do end up hacking your real account, change your password, report and block the player. After that, trade/send your items back to your real account after you know that your account is secure. Again, just giving out your password is dangerous and you should never do it.
If you think someone knows your password or someone is saying they do, change it immediately.

Again, never Trust Trade or Flash Trade, and definitely do not give out your password. You want to have fun while playing in Jamaa, not be upset because someone scammed your items.
Remember to always keep your account safe, and I'll see you next time. Adieu!

Hey guys. I'm not going to be posting till next Thursday..
Mainly because I have no idea how to get other people to write on your blog so....
It's just way too much work for me; to update my blog everyday. It's hard, trust me.
So, yeah.
Look at SnowyClaw's blog instead.
